Birmingham’s cultural melting pot.
The Southside Building sits prominently at the heart of one of Birmingham’s most vibrant, colourful and culturally diverse areas.
Home to theatres, independent bars and restaurants, Chinese markets and the city’s celebrated Gay Village, and decorated with the very best local street art, Southside is a feast for the senses. By day, it attracts the cream of the Midlands’ creative talent and then, as night falls, it transitions into one of Birmingham’s nightlife hotspots.

The revelopment of Southside Square will create a distinctive and instantly identifiable space directly outside The Southside Building, along with a host of infrastructure improvements including enhanced walking and cycling routes to New Street Station.
Southside will also be home to Smithfields, a £1.9 billion redevelopment of Birmingham’s historic Bull Ring Markets that will create a new urban quarter for the city with 2,000 new homes, leisure and cultural facilities centred around a new public square.
